Organised by: FabLab Devon
Date: Wed 13th April 2022
Time: 09:00 to 23:30
Location: Online event
This workshop is for adults 16yrs+. Places are very limited and booking tickets is essential. This workshop is only suitable for people who live or work in: North Devon, Torridge, Mid-Devon or West Devon. This is due to the funding for this CRF Project and the areas identified within the project.
FabLab Devon is running three online workshops:
2D Laser-engraving and Laser-cutting - design your own sign. This will be made using 3mm laser-plywood.
2D Vinyl cutting Introduction - design your own logo or other vinyl cut. This will be cut from one colour of vinyl that we have in stock.
3D Design - design your own 3D keyring. This will be 3D printed in one colour depending upon the colours we have in stock.
Once your design is complete, email it to us (using the same email you signed up in Eventbrite for your ticket) and we will make it for you in the FabLab and will then send your design out to you in the post. This is all fully-funded (FREE to you) as part of the CRF funding. We aim to make and post your project to you within two weeks of receiving it - we will email you when it has been posted.
It is IMPORTANT that, if more than one person is taking part, please select a ticket for each person. This project requires that we capture accurate numbers of people taking part.
How does the online workshop work?
Normally within a week of signing up for your workshop on Eventbrite, you will be emailed a .PDF document from FabLab Devon which contains workshop notes and links to videos to demonstrate your design project. You will be able to complete the online workshop in your own time and re-wind and watch the tutorial video/s as many times as you would like to.
Tickets will be on sale until 30th June or until tickets have sold out. The first emails including workshop notes will not be sent out until the week commencing 18th April. All designs should be emailed in to us no later than Friday 15th July at the latest.
Hand sanitiser is available in the library.
Any workshop attendees should not attend the workshop if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid 19 including a cough. If you or your child is unwell please email us to let us know.
