This event is aimed at people who have basic programming knowledge and are interested in using python for data analysis.

This event is aimed at entrepreneurs and people who own/work for small-medium enterprises, but everyone is welcome.

Event description

Python is the most widely used programming language for Data Science and Machine Learning application, with a wide range of actively developed libraries for these applications and an active user community. This 2 part workshop will introduce how to use Python for data analysis, covering topics including:

  • Python data structures
  • Key data analysis libraries
  • Visualising data
  • A data model in python
  • Case Study - weather and climate data
